Which grammage should I choose?
The rule is simple: as the bead gets thicker, the tassel should get heavier. For thin-beaded prayer beads under 8 mm, 4–5 g; for classic sizes between 8–10 mm, 6–7 g; and for thick-beaded ones over 10 mm, 8–9 g will provide a balanced look. 10 g and above are for collection-sized prayer beads and those who want a showy appearance. If you are unsure, write the bead size of your prayer beads, and we will tell you.
How much of the price is for the silver and how much is for the craftsmanship?
It's mostly labor. The gram price of silver is public knowledge on the stock market and is a small part of the cost of these tassels. What you're paying for is the silver wire being drawn and woven by hand — each tassel is woven individually, by hand, and takes hours. That's why we don't list the gram price: if we did, it would read like the material cost and would be misleading. Instead, we list the weight, which we weigh and document.
Does it come attached to my prayer beads?
If you also purchased prayer beads in the same order, yes - we attach the tassel in our workshop. If you want it to come separately, just write it in the order notes. If you only purchased a tassel, it comes in its own box, with its certificate.
Does silver tarnish?

Your tassel is weighed on a precision scale and photographed before shipping. The measured value is written on the declaration document specially prepared for you. If anything falls outside the range we advertised, we will not send it — and if it does, the return shipping is at our expense.
